Dissolving

He beheld a flower bathed in blue light.

Its petals were as delicate as crystal, and at its heart a star was shining.

A sweet fragrance filled the air, and silence surrounded him.

The flower seemed alive, breathing, speaking to him.

When he reached out to touch it, it gently withdrew.

The closer he tried to come, the farther it seemed.

Yet the flower remained —

in the air,

in the light,

within his heart.

"This is your path, your longing, your song,"

whispered a voice.

He awoke with a sacred foreboding.

The Blue Flower had entered into his very being.

Transition

Forming

From the darkness, I seek the form.

Our inner light may be said to owe its existence to the light.

Out of the formless life, the light produces a sense that shall be like unto itself.

And so we form ourselves by the light,

for the light,

so that the inner light may meet the outer light.
